Sa Huli, Tayo'y Iisa
Rooted in the cultural intersections of my identity, Sa Huli Tayo’y Iisa explores movement as a site of storytelling and shared experience. The work intertwines exotic dance’s celebration of the feminine, waacking’s expressive lineage in the queer BIPOC community, and Filipino folk forms—including banga, salidsid, pandanggo sa ilaw, singkil, and tinikling. Through these vocabularies, I honor the tradition of storytelling in movement, revealing how, in the end, we all come together as one.
